We will be moving my Dad to hospice care this afternoon. If you have plans to come visit you will need to come to the St. Lawrence campus that sits between Oakland and Saginaw. Be sure to park at the West entrance of the hospital otherwise it will get very confusing to find us. He will be on the 2nd floor in the room named "Chestnut." We will not be there until mid afternoon today so don't worry about coming up until after 5:00 tonight.
Dad is really struggling right now and is unable to talk at this point. We are asking you to limit your visits to 5 - 10 minutes in dad's room since he needs a quiet environment right now. We will be happy to come visit with you longer in the waiting area.
Please continue to pray for strength for our family at this time. You may also want to refer to previous posts for further information.

Hello-
ReplyDeleteMy name is Kelly and I attend South Church. I organize a Christian art class that meets once a month-I met Chet 2 years ago, as he worked closely with me each month to set the room up for art class. I've grown very very fond of him.
I have been praying for Chet since finding out about his cancer. I want you to know I'm praying for him now,and for your family.
I had such a great opportunity to sit and talk to Chet about 2 months ago at church. He was up in his office and we talked for almost 25 or 30 minutes. He expressed to me how much he loves his family and he had such a strong faith. We laughed and had such a great talk. I asked him how I could be praying for him, and he gave me specific ways. My family has been praying daily for those needs and for Chet. My 10 year old son constantly reminds me to "Pray for Chet."
I just want you to know, I'm sure you already do know...but he is so loved. I'm praying for you all.
God's mercy, peace, and comfort to you all.
